Number two, with more Sunday fun. Sami sung some songs, Matt and Olly from white heat (Tue night west end club) span some tunes. Great day for open mic, we had some sort of urban pop act turn up to do a street wise ballad, they were great at harmonies. www.irlondon.co.uk

1/2/04 - truck day
Truck records came down with a heap of good bands that wanted roast dinners, we had a pub quiz (did you know Tina Turner was born in the 30's? Neither did we.) The broken high dazzled the crowd, they're a great band. We had a great time teaming up with truck, this will be happening again.

Andy Stone, whom when we meet had a show on Mean Country, a top London country and western station played some Nashville numbers. Sofizel played an interesting solo slot, just her and her bass guitar, very nice indeed. Jackass made it's way onto the projector, we all got drunk.
15/2/04 - day after valentines special
We held a blind date for those who didn't get layed on Valentines night. Romford bluesy rockers ragmop brought down a banjo for a great set. Dom, Max and Gav from the club panic came for a DJ set. Dom even got up on stage to sing us a few songs, perfect.

First time we screened a short film, Saturday PM. It was a short film about tripping, nice. Loads of music as well, with Jeff Automatic from Transmisson on the decks. Frank from Million Dead doing a solo set. Milk plus supplied live drum and bass style rock stuff. Plus the usual milarkey.

February's exhibition was a photography exhibition provided by Emma and Greg. An Irish couple who make photographic love (no it's not porn.) From this exhibition they scored a job with Asian Dub Foundation. Again they don't have a website to link to, but they have now become official Sensible photographers, see their shots on the photo page. |
