Welcome to the Sensible Sundays website, for those of you who haven't been along to our Sunday hangout we shall briefly explain it to you. Every Sunday at a big pub in north London a bunch of like minded people get together, be it to drink off our hangovers, meet with friends, make new friends, have a nice lunch or whatever. Each week we have some bands playing, any style of music is welcomed. We also have an open stage for those who have something to share, be it a song, a poem or just a rant. We invite guest DJs from all walks of life to provide an ever changing Sunday soundtrack and open decks. Bring down some records and you can play them out. Each month we invite a new artist to exhibit their work, all art on the walls is for sale at reasonable prices so if you like something you can take it home with you. We have a selection of food including Sunday Roasts at £5. We screen short films from up and coming film makers and directors. And we enjoy ourselves.
Entrance to Sensible Sundays is free, and we're on every Sunday from 1pm till 11pm. Sensible Sundays is a non profit event, the bands and DJs all play for a roast dinner and a few pints of their chosen poison. We are always up for hearing from new people who would like to be part of it. If you want a gig, DJ slot, exhibition, film screening or anything else please send us an e-mail, we'd like to hear from you. This is an artistic platform for all and we are always up for suggestions and ideas.
So if this sounds like your cup of tea, come and join us on a Sunday. The place has a lot of heart and soul, many will agree it's the perfect way to spend your Sunday.
